Welcome to Orienteering Ottawa. We hope you will enjoy your time in the woods. As a member, we invite you to create a login to our site and you will then, when logged in, be able to view minutes of board meetings and Annual General Meeting to see greater detail about our activities. If you have requested to be added to our mailing list please check that your browser does not put our notices into spam or other folders. Most mailings will come from announce@ottawaoc.ca

Orienteering Ottawa is always looking for ways to be more eco-friendly. We hope you will help us to reduce waste plastic with the following two suggestions:

1.      Water bottle please! – we want to encourage people to use their own reusable water bottles in the finish area.  Bring your water bottle – mark it clearly with your full name - leave it in a bin near registration which we will provide. When you finish your run, collect it and refill as needed from our water jugs. Plastic water glasses will be available for newcomers (or if you forget yours) but will not be out in quantity at the refreshment table.    Note that at refreshment controls on courses plastic glasses WILL be provided.

2.      Map bags –   We collect used map bags at the finish.  If your map bag is suitable for reuse please drop it in the map collection bin for reuse another day.  If you have a collection of old map bags at home, feel free to donate those back as well.
