I added a file upload field. Now I want the file (e.g. an image) to be displayed again when I call up the form again under my user name. The other data is also displayed again.

Hi,

I added a file upload field. Now I want the file (e.g. an image) to be displayed again when I call up the form again under my user name. The other data is also displayed again.

I already had the same request, but I think that this is not possible, grab the image and display it in the FORM as other data, but I will again deeply check this and the inform you

I used to create a form using chronoforms. There was the same problem. The solution for chronoforms looked like this:

// File Upload
// Doing it this way means a user can't just look at any image they want. It's your responsibility to make sure the folder the images are stored in has the correct permissions.

$filename = $this->get("read_entry.entry.fileupload"); echo $filename;
$fileDir = JPATH_COMPONENT_SITE . '/chronoforms/uploads/';

$file = $fileDir . $filename;

if (!empty($filename) && file_exists($file)) {
$b64image = base64_encode(file_get_contents($file));
echo "<div class = 'ui card'><img class = 'ui medium bordered image' src = 'data:image/png;base64,$b64image'><div class = 'content'><div class = 'header'></div></div></div>";
} else { echo "{l:nofile}"; }

?>

Can this perhaps be transferred to breezingforms?

HI,

maybe we can do it with CB, if you make the integration between CB and BF then I think that we can do it over Cb in the list of view.

Can this perhaps be transferred to breezingforms?

thank you for sharing this solution with us, I will see what I can do, and then I will back to you as soon as possible

how can I integrate CB into Breezingforms. Is there a tutorial? I've watched CB's Basic Video, but I don't understand how to integrate CB into Breezingforms. Do I need to rebuild the form in CB? How can I create a multi-page form in CB?

Hi,

on the link below you can see how to do integration between CB and BF

crosstec.org/en/support/online-documenta...rms-integration.html

you can make one example FORM in the BF and then do the integration and see how works, and see is it is oke for you

If you have more questions, feel free to ask!

to show the image in the List View - you can use the Item Wrap Code of the Upload element e.g:
<?php $value = '{Path to Upload Folder}/'.$value; ?>

Make sure that you change {Path to Upload Folder} to the correct upload folder.

For the Content Template you can use this:
<img src="{Path to Upload Folder}/{UploadElementName:value}">

Again, change {Path to Upload Folder} and UploadElementName to the name of the Upload Element.

This is the solution to show the image in the view.
