So, autocomplete is filling my forms with previously submitted information. I need the submissions to be editable, so I cannot disable that; some other posts have suggested that as a solution. Disabling autocomplete in browser settings seems to have no effect on Chrome or Firefox oddly enough.

I hit upon the idea to simply run a ff_resetForm() in the Before Form pieces, but that presents a scoping problem, where that function is undefined at that stage of the form. Even loading the basic libraries ($this -> execPieceByName('ff_InitLib');)at the start of the form does not include this function.

Has anyone else hit upon a solution to this issue or know what library to load that will include ff_resetForm?

Hi,

this happend because in pieces of form should be php code, this ff_resetForm() is element action code in javascript.

Did you try it like:
$this->execPieceByName('ff_InitLib'); //Include BreezingForms Library
echo '
<script>
ff_resetForm();
</script>
';

Thank you for the suggestion of putting the ff_resetForm() call in a script tag, but unfortunately this doesn't work.

To be clear, I have this in the Initialization Script for the form. Perhaps this is acting too early to use the reset function? Using the function from the button on the page works fine.

Yes, in initialization script this code means that it will be initiate when form is loaded.

Also, if you are using editable by user->Yes, if you set it to No, then form will be reset

Changing the property of "Editable by user" in the menu control seems to have done it.
I was making it more difficult on myself, it seems, by thinking that the property would prevent users from editing their records, but that is handled separately in the ContentBuilder view...
Thank you for your assistance again, Tihana!
