I tested this on example on my localhost and this works for me.
But what we can try instead of this is to prevent the entry of “bad” words into every field. So if the "spammers" enter some bad word, the form will not be sent (we can validate each field).
You wrote "if you deactived JS, please activate it again." ?
Tihana, the deactivating of JS in my browser was for testing the PHP script,
because when active the JS filter would intervent.
"I tested this on example on my localhost and this works for me."
HOW ? (3rd time i am asking)
"we can try instead of this is to prevent the entry of “bad” words into every field."
WHY ? We have already a check for the message field, which is not working!
The spam is delivered trough the message field.
Bad Words Filter for the other fields doesn`t make sense.
"What do you think about it?"
-> I am disappointed, please let a colleague read my last post,
i think you`re misunderstanding the situation.
But what I was thinking was to make sure that users can't enter bad words in the message field (if someone enters a bad word an error message is displayed) and the form is not sent.
I tested example from link that you post here from forum (if someone enter bad words in message field, then user can't recive email after confirmation of form) and that’s what that example does
Sorry one more time but I just want to help you the best I can
i now have two Bad-Words Filter: JS & PHP.
And yes, the JS Filter will display a message, when a bad word was entered.
I already had this before posting here!
You tested - ok? HOW?
How did you test the PHP Script? (4 time i am asking)
Spam is still getting send, i posted an example here,
or you could look into the form entries to see that - that`s the problem, still.
Is Markus still there?
Could you please let him read the last two post from me, thank you.
please tell him to have a look at this case, thank you.
If remember correctly he speaks german, if there was a language problem, we can talk in german.
