MOnths ago I asked to have the width of the name element in a CBView to be widened so we can see the full name of the form being used for the view. I seem to remember there was a temporary fix but can't find it. I downloaded and installed CB but the problem is still there.

Can you please fix this ? If there is a temporary fix I would once again appreciate it. This very frustrating.

Thank you.

Bruce

Hi,

this can be done in css, because by default width is set to 200 px.

Please go to this:
ratsafrats.com/administator/templates/isis/css/template.css

and find this:
textarea, input[type="text"], input[type="password"], input[type="datetime"], input[type="datetime-local"], input[type="date"], input[type="month"], input[type="time"], input[type="week"], input[type="number"], input[type="email"], input[type="url"], input[type="search"], input[type="tel"], input[type="color"], .uneditable-input {
    background-color: #fff;
    border: 1px solid #ccc;
    -webkit-box-shadow: inset 0 1px 1px rgb(0 0 0 / 8%);
    -moz-box-shadow: inset 0 1px 1px rgba(0,0,0,0.075);
    box-shadow: inset 0 1px 1px rgb(0 0 0 / 8%);
    -webkit-transition: border linear .2s, box-shadow linear .2s;
    -moz-transition: border linear .2s, box-shadow linear .2s;
    -o-transition: border linear .2s, box-shadow linear .2s;
    transition: border linear .2s, box-shadow linear .2s;
}
inside this code add:
width: auto;

The whole code looks like:
textarea, input[type="text"], input[type="password"], input[type="datetime"], input[type="datetime-local"], input[type="date"], input[type="month"], input[type="time"], input[type="week"], input[type="number"], input[type="email"], input[type="url"], input[type="search"], input[type="tel"], input[type="color"], .uneditable-input {
    width: auto;
    background-color: #fff;
    border: 1px solid #ccc;
    -webkit-box-shadow: inset 0 1px 1px rgb(0 0 0 / 8%);
    -moz-box-shadow: inset 0 1px 1px rgba(0,0,0,0.075);
    box-shadow: inset 0 1px 1px rgb(0 0 0 / 8%);
    -webkit-transition: border linear .2s, box-shadow linear .2s;
    -moz-transition: border linear .2s, box-shadow linear .2s;
    -o-transition: border linear .2s, box-shadow linear .2s;
    transition: border linear .2s, box-shadow linear .2s;
}

The link you provided does not exist. I did find

ratsafrats.com/public_html/administrator/templates/isis/css/template.css

However the code looks nothing like you sent.
