Hi,

how many values can be in a select list?

it looks like you can't have more than 1284?

I used the following code in the value of the select list

<?php
$db = JFactory::getDbo();
$db->setQuery("Select * From exce.#__degree");
$rows = $db->loadObjectList();

$list = "0;PLEASE SELECT;\n";

foreach( $rows As $row ){
$list .= "0;".$row->degreecol.";".$row->id."\n";
}

$value = $list;
return $list;
?>

But this code does not pull the value's to Content Builder View or when I export results to csv file... so it did not work for us. ANY suggestions???

The degree's I'm working with has 3483 value's sooo its now a big problem.

any suggestions will be appreciated.

Hi,

there is indeed a cap on the length but you can get around it using phpmyadmin.
There go to the #__facileforms_subrecords table and change the type of the "value" column from "text" to "longtext".

There will be a future update addressing this (also some other db related things) so it will come anyway and you don't need to worry for it to get overriden on the next update.

Markus

Hi,

exactly, and I forgot to ask to do the same with the columns data1, data2 and data3 in the table #__facileforms_elements.

This will basically be included with one of the next updates.

Markus
