What I have set up so far is based on reading other forum posts and I'm sure I've made a simple error somewhere and that someone will spot it immediately!

I have a new form which starts with two linked selectors 'selecttype' and 'select1' (elem10220).

'selecttype' has hard values 0;Individual;Invididual . 0;Joint;Joint 0;Corporate;Corporate and it shows just fine in preview.

The 'select1' the second selector does not show in the form (but will if I add selector values - I did this to get its elem number).

As per the forum articles I have created an Action Script on the first selector (pic attached) and I have created a 'fundselect.php' (pic attached) file in the root which the Action Script calls.

Ive tried swapping values but can't get it to run. As I say, I'm sure it is simple and I'm just snow blind.

Any help much appreciated

Hello,

At first glance, I don't see any errors in the code.

Please test this code once more, but just predefine at least one option to the 'select1' list like this
0;test;test

Also, could you send me link to your form so I can see whether there are some errors in the console?

Regards,

Mihaela

Mihaela,

Thanks for the quick reply. I've added an option in select1 and it shows now.

Here is a link to the form on a test page: proliquidity.com/crosstec-select-tester

Hi,

you seem to have a "make / model" type of requirement for your field(s).
I prepared an example form here that showcases everything:

Hi Markus, Thanks very much for your help. I successfully installed your db and form as per the link above and that works just fine. I will let you know how I get on with the customisation. Best, Martin
