Hi,

First of all thank you for the extension.

Since a few months all my websites with breezingforms 1.9.1 build 941 let spam pass through the security.

I use recaptcha V3 and often the honeypot but nothing seems to work.

Don't you needd to update the extension? I didn't find any code handling the recaptcha score?

Best regards

Thomas

Hi,

It is always very difficult to be totally free from spam as soon as you offer online forms.

For protection, you can use honeypot and captcha.
You can protect every website with Spambotcheck:
extensions.joomla.org/extension/access-a...curity/spambotcheck/

you can integrate this:
www.projecthoneypot.org/

you can use the validation section to stop some spam, we can make some scripts.

I hope it will help.

Regards,
Mirko

hi Mirko, I am also having trouble with spam as well, despite having ReCaptcha installed. I believe your suggestions will only cover spam bots, whereas we are receiving manual submissions. I was wondering if there is a config setting to disallow URLs in the form submissions, as this would likely solve the manual submissions we are receiving. Alternatively a way to block countries? Thank you! Mark
