Well,
i have an old backup of a joomla site with sportdigga template, and a recent version of my joomla site running on a webserver.
Since i had to upgrade the site, because the hosting company switched over to PHP7, and front end wouldnt work anymore, i upgraded joomla, i upgraded all extensions and since this didn't work out in the end, i upgraded the template as well.
Then website came up again and all seemed to be well, and it respected the old settings. but i had some errors, therefore i deleted the cache, and i ended up with a standard sportsdigga frontend, logo's gone, custom colors also gone. When i change something in the backend, the changes will neither be respected nor saved.
The configuration check tells me, that all files and folders are writabel for the system.
So, since i cannot change the template settings at all, how can i copy back my settings from my backup, which dates back to 2017 so the website will look like it did before the upgrade process?
And no, i cannot restore the old backup; because of outdated plugins and content.
Secondly, it would be nice, if you would give your templates version numbers and release notes, so i know, whether the template had been upgraded and why.
Thanks and best
