Hello everyone,
I have now finished my entire website under the template XTEC. All content is ready in both languages and multilingual works.
The only one, that is missing now, is the multilingual menu. Here I find nothing to configure it.

So please tell me how to configure multilingual in XTEC-menu. :-)

Hello there,

As you can see Crosstec site is made with Xtec template too and we used Language Switcher for our multi-language menu switch.

Let me know if this helped.

Rgds,
Mario

Hello Mario,
NO, that doesn't help at all.

As I mentioned before, I have realized multilanguage already and of course with language switcher of Joomla.

My question was how I can switch YOUR menu with language switcher.

It really doesn't help me that I can see, that you are also switching it on this website. :-(

Hi Mario,
I told you, that I have multilanguage installed as you can see on the attached picture Multilanguage.png. There are two defined menues Top (DE) and Top (EN).

But I can't find any way to define multilanguage in the register Menu in Template Manager. (TemplateManager.png)

So it will not change the language.

Hello Kappa,

Again, if you want to setup a language switcher you will have to do it via Modules: Language Switcher ( header-c ) position since there is no option for this inside Xtec Template Manager.

Also from the Modules: Language Switcher description :

This module displays a list of available Content Languages (as defined and published in Language Manager Content tab) for switching between them when you want to use Joomla! as a multilingual site.
--The plugin 'System - Language Filter' has to be enabled.--
When switching languages and if the item displayed in the page is not associated to another item, the module redirects to the Home page defined for the chosen language.
Otherwise, if the parameter is set for the Language filter plugin, it will redirect to the associated item in the language chosen. Thereafter, the navigation will be the one defined for that language.
If the plugin 'System - Language Filter' is disabled, this may have unwanted results.

Hope this helps.

Regards,
Mario
