Everything with my BF & CB is working really well - very impressed :). The only thing I need to figure out is how to restrict which fields are shown when clicking on a link created by a CB view.

When looking at the published view, it restricts the fields to my chosen ones (all good), however if I put a link on one of the fields (so the user can click thru & look at the chosen record in portrait rather than lanscape, ALL fields for that record show - not just the ones I have selected in the CB view. Is that normal behaviour, or can I restrict those fields when linking to a record as well?

Hello,

I have to admit that I don't really get the point.

Could you please make some screenshots with some pointers and post it here?

Hi Syno,

I think I've got it sorted - I hadn't scrolled down far enough when looking at Content Template, to see that you have the ability to create/modify/remove individual fields from the view.

Still learning :)

One last thing on this topic - when I have created my CB view Content template & have the HTML looking good, if I then preview it using CB Views, it looks exactly as it should with the HTML formatting in place.

If I publish the view and look at it as an article, the formatting mostly disappears (like table padding), and I get a very plain looking table.

Any ideas?

Hello,

sorry for the late reply. It seems that your template overrides the table formatting. But to be sure could you please provide screenshots of both views so that I could have a look?

And maybe your html definitions would help.
