Thanks Lovre,

2) ok - that's fine. I would be able to use the values "checked" / "unchecked" and get the expected resultat on this way.

1) I tried to do this. My field is ID=33 Label=Kategorie (View) and I changed your script as follows:
- selecting 'select'
- selecting 'script'
- adding 'Init (JS)' Init Code:
jQuery( "33" ).attr( "size", "22" );
and as well with
jQuery( "#33" ).attr( "size", "22" );
jQuery( 33 ).attr( "size", "22" );
but there is always no reaction on editing page.

Did I understand something wrong?

Thanks for your patience.

Hi Heinz,

IDs of your select elements are following:
kategorie id - #cb_21

region id - #cb_25

kanton id - #cb_26

so you should set something like this:
jQuery( "#cb_21" ).attr( "size", "12" );
jQuery( "#cb_25" ).attr( "size", "24" );
jQuery("#cb_26").attr( "size", "36" );

Please let us know if this works for you.

Lovre

Thanks Lovre,

I did it this way - but it dowsn't works. No reaction in editing view!

But I understood
- I have to use the database ID and not the view ID
- I have to identify the ID with ( "#cb nn" )

I added the JS Init code 1:1 as per your advice. No idea why it doesn't works?

Best regards,
Heinz

Hi,

if you open your js console when you are on the page you will see the error:

This is caused by the code in your content prepare which is in most cases the result of jquery not included in your index page OR a plugin clash. Could you please try disabling a few plugins and see if it makes a difference. If you run into any problems or have any questions let us know.
