Hallo liebe Community,

Bastian

Hi Tome,
no problem :)

i want to place the video in a module. The position is "showcase a". I installed the "Allvideo-Plugin". Everthing works when i activate the plugin and put in the code "{mp4]name of the video{/mp4}" in a simple article. The video displays in the main body. Then i wanted to put the code in a self-costumized-Module. But in the Frontend there was only the code ("{mp4]name of the video{/mp4}") displayed but no video.

Do i need another plugin? Or something else?
Thank you for your help.
The link to the site is: muhlacker.eventpower.info/
At the moment there is a slider in "showcase a". The video should be instead of the slider.

Hey there,

maybe i have a better idea for you, without any plugin, I just test on my localhost using the custom module and pure HTML video tag like this:
<p><video style="width: 100%;" poster="http://www.yourdomain.com/somefolder/poster.jpg" preload="auto" autoplay="autoplay" loop="loop" muted="muted">
<source src="images/video/yourvideo.mp4" />
<source src="images/video/yourvideo.ogv" />
<source src="images/video/yourvideo.webm" />
</video></p>

So create custom module and toggle the editor and place this code.

if you have video on server then you need to do more is convert your video to ogv and webm format so its supported on mobile, various browsers etc, but for the test you can use just mp4.

Poster is simple screenshot of your video or any picutre you want to display if problem occurs with the video.

If this doesn't work for you then I'll need to log in in your backend to try few tests.

Let us know the result.

Regards,
Tome
