Hello,

I am using ContentBuilder for both my forms and database and I have a form that on submit sends out an email to several parties. We do not use BreezingForms due to the fact we believe have better control on look and feel with ContentBuilder.

In the Admin section of the template I am using both "From Name (alt.)" and "From Email (alt.)". The email part works great but the "From Name" does not. It will NOT override the emaill address in the joomla config.

Anyone have any ideas on how to get this to work?

Hi,

as i see, you have a very old CB version installed (0.9.6 (build 245), 2014-05-19). First of all, we recommend you to update it installing the current version (0.9.91 (build 250), 2016-04-06). You can download it here .

The update seems to have fixed the From Name (alt) issue, however it still show the wrong from email address. In the email template for the view, i have the following set.

From Email (alt.) = scheduler@xxxx-xxxx.org
From Name (alt.) = Scheduler

However from the header of the email:
from: Scheduler <info@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx.com>
reply-to: Scheduler <scheduler@xxx-xxxx.org>

Now we are not getting the From Email (alt) set right in the from portion but the reply-to is fine.
