Hi,

Could you please link this topic that you mentioned so we can get a better insight in what are you exactly talking about.

If you are trying to simply display a QR code image you can do it like you said. Insert some code like this in the description:
<img src="yourWebsite.com/images/img.jpg"/>

Please let us know if this helps.

Hi,

what you should do then is paste this code to your page intro or section description:
<img id="QRCode" />
after that create a on change actionscript for your "img_url" element like this:
function ff_img_url_action(element, action)
{
    switch (action) {
        case 'change':
              document.getElementById("QRCode").src = element.value;
            break;
        default:;
    } // switch
}
This way whenever the url changes the image will refresh.

I'm also sending you a package of a form which has this functionality. Just download the attached zip file, unzip and install via the package installer> BF configuration.

Please let us know if this is working out for you.

hi, Lovre

youe sample works.

further more, I use jquery ui autocomplete (form piece) on name text element to auto pupulate name, title and staff code, the img url is based on staff code like ''http://my server//staff code.jpg'', in this case, the action script will not trigger for element value change,only work when User input on the element field.

I put ''ff-getelementbyname.src=''http://my server/'+getelementbyname.value+''.jpg'' in form piece, can't work, also try document.getElementById("QRCode''].src, No luky.
Everything is possible.

Hi,

you should try this then:
- turn off your "on change" Actionscript for the "img_url" element.
- go to YourForm> Advanced> More Options> Scripts> Initialization Script> Click "create code framework" and paste this code inside the {} brackets:
setInterval(function() {
document.getElementById("QRCode").src = ff_getElementByName('img_url').value;
}, 500);
- save changes.

Now the image should be updated even with the autocomplete.
I'm also sending you a form in a package with this code inside. You can try it.

Please let us know if this is working out for you.
