Hello Chris,

The employee write some informations in input text fields (first name, last name, phone number, email, etc.).
Then he select his team in a list which display all the teams and add his bill in an upload field.

The manager have to check (see) the attached file (the bill) to see if the expense is ok.
If it is ok, the manager click on a check box to validate the expense and send all the form to the third person.
If the expense is not ok, there's no specific action within the workflow : i mean, if something going wrong, the manager have to phone or email to the employee to get some explanations from the employee.

Regards,
Bob

Hello again,

okay - this is a really simple sample of the code:
$this->execPieceByName('ff_InitLib');
$from = 'FROM@email.com'; // Change this to the EMAIL ADDRESS you want to appear in the Email's FROM field
$fromname = 'Your Company Name'; // Change this to the 'FROM' NAME you want to appear in the Email

$team = ff_getSubmit('TeamElementName');
//Change TeamElementName to the name of the element where the user selects his team

if($team == 'team1'){
$recipient = 'team1@email.com';
} else if($team == 'team2'){
$recipient = 'team2@email.com';
}

$subject = 'Your Subject Here';
$body = '';

foreach ($this->maildata as $data) {
   $body .= $data[_FF_DATA_TITLE].": ".$data[_FF_DATA_VALUE].nl();
}

$this->sendMail($from, $fromname, $recipient, $subject, $body);  // This line actually emails the form.

This piece will only check the team that the user has entered and will send an email to the corresponding email address.
Please have a look at the comments in the code itself!

If this is working we can start with the Manager email.

regards
Chris

A staff member submits a form that needs to be viewed and approved by heads of different departments.
This is possible with BreezingForms and/or ContentBuilder which is avaiable for free by the way :laugh:

How to do it?

Hi, sorry for the delay, i hope it's not too late.

You should make a form with 2 types of fields, USER and ADMIN fields.

Based on that Form you should create 2 Views, one for the ADMIN and one for the USER, create separate EditableTemplates, ContentTemplate can be the same, set permissions, use the "edit by type" option, set "include in list", "editable".

Let us know if you need any help with this.

Regards,

Lovre

Hi Lovre,

I still have the same problem. I didn't understand the procedure you proposed. Can you go into more detail? Thank you.

Hi,

in content builder you can create two views based on same form (one for admin and one for user).
There you can create Content Template, and set special permissions in Permissions tab for both views.

Let me know if you need more help

Tihana
