I have 2 questions about searching by number within the content builder.
1. Is it possible to search on 2 numbers (e.g. number 12)
2. and is it possible to have the search only take place over the numbers whose clothes have not been handed in…
I will explain the system a little further for clarification.
This system is used by, among others, soccer clubs. These clubs have shirts for the competition that they distribute to their players. These clothes are mostly provided with number labels. And those number labels are linked to the person whose clothing belongs to.
And that's what clubs can use our system for... keeping track of who has what clothes.
After a match there is often still a lot of clothing lying around (especially with the youth )… So it would be very useful if they could quickly type in a number to see who the clothing belongs to.
BUT… per person/member there are up to 10 pieces of clothes they can put in… And if someone turned in their shirt because it is too small or they leave the club… then this clothes still come up when you search the number.
For instance:
Thomas has a competition shirt size S with label 333.
Thomas no longer fits it and returns it. He gets a shirt size M with label 456.
Sam is new to the club and now gets shirt label 333, which belonged to Thomas first.
If you are now looking for label 333, ONLY Sam should come forward and Thomas no longer .... because he has the shirt
already submitted.
I hope I explained it clearly and you can use it... I look forward to hearing from you!
yes, you can use the advanced search filter for this.
You can use it to search for numbers on that particular field.
There is also a way to use a fixed search filter for filtering out the already hand-out clothes.
It will be a bit time-consuming at first to set this up, but usually, once it is working, you should be fine.
thanks for your help.... I installed this extension and got it to work.
I tried this "@range/number/1 to 1000" in the number field filter (in the search module) but I still can't filter on 2 numbers...
Not quite the right way to get this done... because I don't know why it is possible now and I have no control now either....
Could you explain to me how I can use this module to filter on at least 2 numbers and what conditions can we give to them? So"@range/number/1 to 1000" AND if "radio" is Yes, don't show that number in the search result.
for the range I would do "10 to 10000" and for the radio element, you can apply an initial filter in the menu item of the view and filter by its value ("yes").
I understand the range... but I think the filter in the menu can't do the trick for us.
We have a form with ADD/DELETE rows in it... And in every row there is an Yes/No radio switch.
And we don't want thet numbers that are "Yes"... so if it is Yes on row 1 and 2, we only want the number from row 3 to be found in the search.
