please check this

Hello,

in datastorage I create new entry and use "existing database" and choose then the database view I created earlier with "CREATE VIEW ...".
And sure this is not a real database, it is a view.

It seems CB cannot handle that. I tried everything without success.

I think this is because a view is not a table and CB tries to add some columns to the DB view (id, created_by, modified_by ..) and this is not possible in a view.

Hi,

in your database did you do this?

In phpmyadmin you can make a query for join 2 tables and put result in a third one
Here is an example how to join:
stackoverflow.com/questions/12352048/mys...w-joining-two-tables
Then this third one use for content builder

Yes, I created that database view using phpmyadmin and I get perfect results in that database view.

The view contains some columns from 3 different tabels.

The columns are:
- username (from #__users)
- groupname (from #__usergroups)
- group id (from #__user_usergroup_map)
