I want to use content builder to help my clients make promo banners simply for specific pages. Is there any way to post the content to a module instead of an article?

Now I know I can make a module post content from a specific module, but if they make a new submission then I would have to train them to create a new module pointing to the new article.

Let me know. Thanks!

Hi,

I am not sure but is there a way to select menu item types to be used for the content module? If yes, then you could use CB's "Latest" menu item type which actually shows the latest record been done. That way they can keep updating the module content and it will always show the newest.

Regards,
Markus

Sorry I might have worded my question incorrectly. I want to take the content template that I created and publish it directly to a Module instead of an Article. Is that possible? Let me know, thanks!

Hi,

at the moment, there is no direct record to module. You could however link to the latest record inside an iframed module (html module). Not really nice, but that would be a current workaround if you don't want to use articles.

Yes understood. I think consideration for something like this would add a great deal of flexibility when building sites. Posting authored content to a specific HTML template that can be placed into module positions would be nice.

I have found a few other solutions to post articles to a module but it creates a CSS nightmare. :D

Thanks again, honestly really love this plugin and try to incorporate it any time I can!
