Dragonrider created the topic: Save Button in ContentBuilder

Is it possible to move the position of the Save Buttons please so they are more in line with the form, rather than out on the far right hand side?

If so, how would I go about this please?

Hi,

There is no direct option to position the button BUT you can add custom CSS via Editable prepare / Content Prepare :
echo'
<style>
//YOUR CSS HERE
</style>
';

Hope this helps.

Mario

Thank you,

Unfortunately, all that I have tried does not seem to make any difference.
echo '<style>button button btn btn-primary cbButton cbSaveButton cbToolBar {
  float:left;
}</style>';
I used Firefox debugger (inspect element) to find the code around the Save button which seems to be the above code, placed the code into the Editable Prepare box but no change in the position of the Save Button.

Could you please suggest what css code I am missing?

Thank you.

Hi,

Please try this :
.cbSaveButton {float: left!important;}

Remove the cache afterwards.

Mario

Thank you, sorry to say, no change although Firefox inspect element shows that is there, it is just been ignored as the following seems to be over-riding it.
<div class="cbToolBar" style="float: right; text-align: right;">
The test page is at www.uk-webspace.com/joomla3/index.php/wedding-list if that is of any help.

Hi,

cbToolBar has float : right ; which you need to disable OR make it float: left;

Hope this helps.
