Ok, I understand that.

That is why I've suggested that you use an additional field that would be filled in with the content of both fields and then used as the Title.

The problem is that I see that the field "Display_Title" remains empty. That is why I wanted you to try to include it in the "Editable template" to see whether it gets filled in when it is present.

Can you please try to do as follows.
In View Tab => In Editable column for the Name element click on [text] and in windows that opens click on Scripts Tab and in Init (JS): section put the following code:
contentbuilder.onSubmit(
   function(){
       contentbuilder._('Name').value = contentbuilder._('Name').value + ' -  ' + contentbuilder._('Position').value;
       return true;
   }
);

Then use the Name field as the title of the article and let me know whether it works.

Regards,

Mihaela

I have tried the above idea, makes no change and of course, every time I make a change to the ContentBuilder form, it unpublishes, and resets the title to the Organisation Name.

Also, that previous response, was not made by me. ???

Thank you for your time and patience Mihaela.

I finally have the forms working as I wish.

The solution was to add {Display_Title:item} into the Editable Template, as a Hidden Field and to then choose Display_Title as the Title Field in the Content Template.

By adding the following code in the View>Display_Title [hidden] Script>Init(JS)
contentbuilder.onSubmit(
   function(){
       contentbuilder._('Display_Title').value = contentbuilder._('Name').value + ' -  ' + contentbuilder._('Position').value + '  - Closing Date: ' + contentbuilder._('Date').value ;
       return true;
   }
);
I have the Article Title showing as Organisation - Position - Closing Date: (date) which is exactly what I was hoping to do.

Thank you again.

Hello again,

I'm glad that adding the field in Editable template did resolve the issue after all. :)

As for the previous post, I see now that it wasn't you who had posted.

The important thing is that now you have the Article Title showing as Organisation - Position - Closing Date: (date) and that it is working as you wanted.

Best regards,

Mihaela
