I have a content builder list with items like id, resort, checkin, checkout, etc. If a person clicks on a row within list view. I would like to pass multiples values from the same row to a form.

Is this possible? Have I overlooked documentation on how to do this? Thanks in advance.

Hello,

There is no option inside CB that would do this automatically but it can be done with some custom coding.

What you can do is contact our form specialist GWS DESK as they can look into this for you.
You can contact GWS DESK here : gws-desk.com/extensions-support/breezingforms-support

I replied, but it didn't show up... let's try this again. In order to pass the value, I passed it from the article. So when you are in list view and you click on a row. It will send you to the article. In the "content template" section I added a button class.

<a href="index.php?option=com_rsform&formId=26&form[dealid]={id:value}" class="button">Get More Information</a>

By using {id:value} it puts in the value I need to pass into my form via link.

If you want to achieve this directly from the list (without first opening the article), try displaying the list using the standard Joomla "Articles » Category Blog" lay-out.
With that you can design your own (blog) list lay-out, including buttons or even different fields pointing (href) to different articles.

I like the advantage of this method to generate lists that look and behave exactly as i want them and use the standaard CB lists only for management tasks.
Custom style sheets also add a great deal to this ( joomla.impression-estudio.gr/en/joomla-e...sions/add-custom-css )

Enjoy!
