I would like to load a module within a TextArea field. With a regular Joomla article, I can either use {loadposition position} or this plugin ( Load Module into article ) that has the syntax {module [ID]}.

Neither one of these options work with ContentBuilder TextArea field.

Is there another option that I should consider?

Thank you in advance,

Hey,

I'm not entirely sure what you're trying to achieve, so I can't tell you if it's possible or not. However, I highly doubt you'll be able to insert a module inside a textarea. Inside Content Template maaaybe, in List View unlikely.

Anyways, get back to me with more info and I'll try to find a way.

Kind regards,
Darko

I am using the following JA Image Hotspot , as you can see on this webpage . Now that page is a Category.

But I created a data storage & view to organize 'adventures'. Here is an example which you can see on the page has {module [128]}. I am using Load Module into Article to handle the {module [128]}.

This works in a standard Joomla article as you can see here .

I hope that explains what I am trying to do.

Thank you.

Hey,

yeah, that's a bit clearer.

I really tried to make it work, but unfortunately couldn't load it there. However, I don't know how your view looks like (I get 403 error on visit), but if you have a field called 'map' for example, you could set an item wrap code to 'Click for detailed map', and then inside content template you can write for that field something like:
{loadmodule mod_whateverJAImageiscalled {map:value}}

That way when someone clicks and views that entry, in the article, there will be a map.

Since I assume you will be the only one entering those maps, while filling out the data storage, for map field, you'd write that module name. I tried it out with a module and it works. In your case since you're using that plugin, you could also write {module [{map:value}]}, where you'd write the module number (128 for example) into that field.

If you want, you can send me the login credentials for your site to darko.cujic@crosstec.org and I'll try it out for you.

Kind regards,
Darko
