Hi,

I'm trying to load 2 different form on the same page. One of the form is in the article content and is being loaded with {BreezingForms: nameOfTheForm} and the second form is being loaded in a modal window when a button is click. When I try to load the second form in the modal window I receive this message: [No form id or name provided!]. When I go on a page where there's no form, I'm able to load the form in the modal window correctly.

Any hint on what might be going on here?

Hi,

if you want to load 2 forms on the same page, please note that all additional forms, except the main one should load in an iframe to prevent conflicts. If your form is in the module, then go to this module and find run in iFrame and set it to yes.

Loading the form in a blank iframe doesn't work:

Here's a snippet of the markup:
<div class="article-container">
    {BreezingForms: formInsideArticle}
     <a href="#modalWindow">SUBSCRIBE</a>
</div>
<div id="modalWindow" style="z-index: 9999;">
  	<h3>Modal window title</h3>
  	<div id="modalWindowContent">
	    <iframe src="about:blank">
			<!DOCTYPE html>
			<html>
				<head>
				     <title></title>
				</head>
				<body>
				      {BreezingForms: nameOfTheForm}
				</body>
			</html>
		</iframe>
	</div>
</div>

When loading the modal window, there's no content in it.

Loading the form in a iframe with the srcdoc attribute populated with the content doesn't work either:
<div class="article-container">
    {BreezingForms: formInsideArticle}
    <a href="#modalWindow">SUBSCRIBE</a>
</div>

<div id="modalWindow" style="z-index: 9999;">
  	<h3>Modal window title</h3>
  	<div id="modalWindowContent">
		<iframe srcdoc="<!DOCTYPE html><html><head><title></title></head><body>{BreezingForms: nameOfTheForm}</body></html>"></iframe>
    </div>
</div>

The [No form id or name provided!] message get returned inside the modal window.

Loading the form with the BreezingForm module with its Run in iframe option set to yes makes the form in the article content display the [No form id or name provided!] message but correctly displays the form inside the modal window.

Here's a snippet of the markup:
<div class="article-container">
    {BreezingForms: formInsideArticle}
	<a href="#modalWindow">SUBSCRIBE</a>
</div>

<div id="modalWindow" style="z-index: 9999;">
  	<h3>Modal window title</h3>
  	<div id="modalWindowContent">
		{module BreezingFormModuleWithRunInIframeSetToYes}
    </div>
</div>

Loading the form (the one in the modal window) with an iframe with it's src attribute set to a link to an article containing the form works but makes me have to create an article and a menu to load the form which is a lot of "dummy content" to load a simple form. In addition, the whole site styles get loaded with the form.

Here's a snippet of the markup:
<div class="article-container">
	{BreezingForms: formInsideArticle}
    <a href="#modalWindow">SUBSCRIBE</a>
</div>

<div id="modalWindow" style="z-index: 9999;">
  	<h3>Modal window title</h3>
  	<div id="modalWindowContent">
        <iframe src="http://www.website.com/link-to-article-containing-breezing-form"></iframe>
    </div>
</div>

Any other suggestions?

Thanks.

Hi,

strange, because if you want to load two forms in same page, one of this forms should be in iFrame, otherwise there is a conflict between forms.

In form->Advanced->Settings you can adjust width and height of this form which is in iFrame

P.S: are you pusblish both forms in module or?

Yes. This is the third option I've tried and it doesn't work either.

When displaying the form (the one inside the modal window) with the BreezingForm module with its Run in iframe option set to yes, it makes the form in the article content display the [No form id or name provided!] message but correctly displays the form inside the modal window.

Here's a snippet of the markup:
<div class="article-container">
    {BreezingForms: formInsideArticle} <!-- displays [No form id or name provided!] -->
	<a href="#modalWindow">SUBSCRIBE</a>
</div>

<div id="modalWindow" style="z-index: 9999;">
  	<h3>Form inside modal window</h3>
  	<div id="modalWindowContent">
		{module BreezingFormModuleWithRunInIframeSetToYes} <!-- Displays the form correctly -->
    </div>
</div>

How come loading 2 forms on the same page can create a conflict? Is it a bug with BreezingForms? This is such a basic thing to do. Are you guys planning to fix this issue?

If that can help, I'm using Component (build 939) , Module 1.8.4, Plugin 1.8 and this library: getuikit.com/v2/docs/modal.html , for creating the modal.

Hi,

ok, please instead of article use menu item (publish form is menu item instead of article), because we need to fix article plugin, there is something wrong. This will be fixed in the next update

Also, when 2 forms is in same page, again one publish in iframe
