Hi Tihana,

Now that you've helped me with signature size in the mailback PDFs, I now would like to do be able to do two things:
  1. I don't want to send the signature file as a separate attachment.
  2. to suppress the Signature value information with the signature filename etc... and just include the signature alone.

Using "Hide in Mailback" for the signature hides everything in the client mailback - both the actual signature and the table row which contains the signature image file name, but doesn't hide it in the admin mailback. This is not much use because I want the client to have the signature too.

I don't know PHP, but clearly need it to skip over the signature field when creating the table for the PDF, don't want to suppress the actual signature.

Can you help with this? I can send the templated I have created if you need it.

Thanks in advance,
Shah

Hi,

just want to be sure:
you don't want to have signature in attachement in email, but want to have it in pdf ?
Sorry, I haven't woken up well yet, so I want to be sure before I answer :)

Regards,
Tihana

Yes, that's correct. That's part one of my question. If the signature is in the PDF, it doesn't need to also be a separate attachment.

Take your time to wake up - it's evening here, and I'm going late night shopping :-)

Hi,

I tested this while waiting for your response LOL

Go to joomla root/components/com_breezingforms/facileforms.process.php
In line 6140 you will see this code:
$attachToAdminMail = JRequest::getVar('attachToAdminMail', array());
        if (count($this->maildata)) {
            foreach ($this->maildata as $data) {
                if (isset($attachToAdminMail[$data[_FF_DATA_NAME]])) {
                    if (isset($data[_FF_DATA_FILE_SERVERPATH])) {
                        $testEx = explode("\n", trim($data[_FF_DATA_FILE_SERVERPATH]));
                        $cntTestEx = count($testEx);
                        if ($cntTestEx > 1) {
                            for ($ex = 0; $ex < $cntTestEx; $ex++) {

                                if(strpos(strtolower($testEx[$ex]), '{cbsite}') === 0){
                                    $testEx[$ex] = str_replace(array('{cbsite}','{CBSite}'), array(JPATH_SITE, JPATH_SITE), $testEx[$ex]);
                                }

                                if(strpos(strtolower($testEx[$ex]), '{site}') === 0){
                                    $testEx[$ex] = str_replace(array('{site}','{site}'), array(JPATH_SITE, JPATH_SITE), $testEx[$ex]);
                                }

                                if (!is_array($attachment) && $attachment != '') {
                                    $attachment = array_merge(array(trim($testEx[$ex])), array($attachment));
                                } else if (is_array($attachment)) {
                                    $attachment = array_merge(array(trim($testEx[$ex])), $attachment);
                                } else {

                                }
                            }

                    }
                }

	            if($data[_FF_DATA_TYPE] == 'Signature'){

		            $signatures[] = JPATH_SITE . '/media/breezingforms/signatures/' . $data[_FF_DATA_VALUE];

Thanks Tihana, you're amazing - to find that section in 9000 lines of code!

BUT, this only works for admin mail (because that IS the section for admin mail) but user mail still has the signature attached. I also don't want it there, but I can't find anything similar - that I can recognise - for user mail .

Also, see the attached screen shot. I would also like to be able to leave out the green highlighted section in both mailbacks - user and admin.

Any chance of help there?

Shah
