Bamhost,

Your rant is justified, and I understand you completly. This should be a built in feature but again, I'm just a support guy with no power on deciding what will be added :(

As I said our company developers are on OTHER ( not Crosstec ) projects. Currently BF is in StatusQuo mode....but that will change.

Regarding your question, I think that enabling 'print' should be easy:

Code from the topic you sent :
$pdf->lastPage();
        $pdf->SetProtection(array('print', 'copy'), 'MyPassword', null, 0, null);
        $pdf->Output($pdfname, "F");
        return $pdfname;
    }

New Code that enables 'print' :
$pdf->lastPage();
        $pdf->SetProtection(array('copy'), 'MyPassword', null, 0, null);
        $pdf->Output($pdfname, "F");
        return $pdfname;
    }

The first parameter is meant to be an array of strings with identifiers on which permissions should be removed from the PDF.

Let me know if this worked.

Regards,
Mario

Hello Mario,

Yep...I figured it out just before you posted this, thanks to your mention that you use tcpdf. I googled it and found their code and figured it out.

Sorry for the bother...I should have done that before posting.

Thank you again for your great help.

I have a couple of other things that I need help getting to work with regards to visibility rules but first want to exhaust my search to make sure it's not already out there somewhere.
