vinnie created the topic: Select image with "select from list" element type

Good evening everybody.
Is there any way I can let the user select an image from a "select from list" element type?
Like, a list of images?
I tried like this,
0;<img src="/path/image.jpg";Image X

but the list shows only the code.

I'd really appreciate your help.
Thanks!

Hello,

It is not possible to put images as options in the "select from list" element type.

Despite that, can do that you want for Radio group or Checkbox group element. Just put in Group textarea something like this:
0;<img src="images/image1.jpg" />;OptionA
0;<img src="images/image2.jpg" />;OptionB
0;<img src="images/image3.jpg" />;OptionC
You just have to replace images/image1.jpg with the correct path and name of your picture.
Also, replace OptionA, OptionB and OptionC with wanted values which will then be saved to record of this form.

If you want to modify your picture, for example resize it you can do with this code:
0;<img src="images/image1.jpg" alt="Option A" height="42" width="42"/>;OptionA

Let me know whether it suits you to use radio group instead of select list and whether you've managed to set this for your form.

If you have more questions, feel free to ask.

Regards,

Mihaela

Thanks for your reply.
Well, there is a lot of items to choose from, the "select from list" element type would be better. With radio or checkbox group I should list all of them.

thank you,
Have a good day.
