Hello,

In a questionnaire that I am doing, it is selecting Yes, No, Not applicable, when they select No, a section created with a text is not displayed. The question is:

How can I get that recommendation created in a section to appear in the report it generates?

Be the process to get the elements with {text: label}
{text: value} but not for sections

Thank you.

Hi,

I am not sure I understand right, do you have a screenshot that outlines what you need? Just want to make sure I am telling the right solution!

Regards,
Markus

This is the questionnaire, in each question there are 3 options.

When I select No, a recommendation comes out that is in a section (not an item).

I want this section to appear in the report email and in the PDF (the PDF is the same one that I sent days ago as support for the corporate design on each page)

Thank you

The email template needs to be a php-based one, as well, to add if-statements for including the text.

Then in each template, you need to check for the field-value that is supposed to show the text. Basically an if-statement.

Where in your templates do you need this to appear?

Yes, the template is fine and all the fields appear to me, what I can't get is the sections in the html.

I am sending you the URL for you to see.

Ok, the section text isn't transferred over to the templates.
You will need to copy and paste the text into your templates.

In principle, it would look like this (PDF template)
// inside the main loop that goes over the fields:
if( $data[_FF_DATA_NAME] == 'FIELDNAME' && $data[_FF_DATA_VALUE] == 'VALUE YOU ARE LOOKING FOR'){
     echo 'YOUR SECTION TEXT, COPY AND PASTED';
}

FIELDNAME is the name (not title) of the field that triggers the section to appear.

VALUE YOU ARE LOOKING FOR is the value for that field that actually triggers the display

YOUR SECTION TEXT, COPY AND PASTED is your section text, copy and pasted from your original form.

For the Email template use $DATA instead of $data.

Markus
