Hello,

Try to use the following QUERY:
$db->setQuery('SELECT `carmodel` FROM `TABLENAME` WHERE make_id ='.$db->quote($vehMake) .' ORDER BY `carmodel`);

Make sure that what you fetch as make_id really is the ID.
Did you manage to get the possible carmodels in the select list for now in random order based on the vehicleMake?
