Mario, unfortunately, it is still not working. I have also tried replacing
if( intval($_REQUEST['ff_record_id']) > 0)
with
if( intval($_REQUEST['ff_currentpage']) == 2)
,
if( intval('ff_currentpage') == 2)
but no luck.

Idea here is to get an email notification once the user reaches 2nd page.

Please let me know.

Just verifying:

1. Have you used if( intval($_REQUEST) > 0)?
2. Was this email triggered when user visited 2nd page & not 1st or any other page?

Please let me know.

Hi,

1) I used the last piece of code I sent, what differs is that you used mail() function while I used Joomla $this->sendmail docs.joomla.org/API17:JMail::sendMail
2) Yes, this happens on 'Submit', when the form is submitted aka when the Thank you page is displayed.

Regards,
Mario

1. Two differences i.e. I used mail function along with if('ff_currentpage' == 2). You used sendmail & if( intval($_REQUEST) > 0)

2. There is some confusion. My requirement is with a form with 3 pages. Once user reaches 2nd page, the email should be sent. I do not need with 'Submit' or any other page. Hope it clarifies.

Hi,

I just know that if('ff_currentpage' == 2) won't work.
Since this is coming form Before Form which menaws this is happening when the form is "initialized" and ff_currentpage state will always be 1 .

Create a custom button for next page and than in the button Action create a AJAX call to the form itself that would send an email.
Do the Ajax call only if validation returns valid first page.

That's the only thing I can think of right now.

Mario
