Michael_81 created the topic: Buchungsformular SPAM Mails

Hallo zusammen,

Hi,

Format your select list like this to achieve the desired result:
1;Choose one;
0;Choice1;Choice1
0;Choice2;Choice2
0;Choice3;Choice3
0;Choice4;Choice3

You will need to add ff_valuenotempty validation to your select-list.
Since the first choice does not have a value assigned to it ( 1;Choose one; ) it will trigger the validation forcing the users to choose something else.

Regarding your SPAM question, do you have ReCaptcha on your from or basic Captcha ?

Regards,
Mario

Hello,

I hope that we can continue in English since we don't have a German speaking staff member at the moment.

To validate whether in the filed for number of guests is empty or equal to "0" do as follows.
Go to Properties of that element and in Validation section check the Required checkbox. Set the Validation Type to Custom.
In the code area below put the following code:

function ff_elementname_validation(element, message)
{
if (element.value == "0" || element.value == "") {
if (message=='') message = element.name+"Please enter the number of guests.\n"
ff_validationFocus(element.name);
return message;
} // if
return '';
} // ff_elementname_validation

This way form couldn't be submitted until number different from "0" is entered.

Was that what you wanted to achieve? Should 0 be kept as an option, but you don't want to allow submission if it is selected?

Regards,

Mihaela

Thank you mihaela and MarioPuco for the quick response.

Today I changed the Captcha to ReCaptcha and entered the validation code.

Hopefully this will help to stop the Spam entries. I'll report here in a few days.
