wgBranning created the topic: Preview Button and Multi-Page Forms

With a multi-page form, is there a way to 'Preview' a page without having to fill out the required fields in previous pages? Example: We have a 4 page form, each page has "Required" fields. To preview the 3rd page, must fill out "Required" fields on pages 1,2 first. Time consuming.

Hello there,

Open the file administrator/components/com_breezingforms/libraries/crosstec/classes/BFQuickMode.php

Find around line 2070 this:
echo '<input class="bfPrevButton'.$this->fadingClass.'" type="submit" onclick="ff_validate_prevpage(this, \'click\');populateSummarizers();" value="'.htmlentities(trim($this->rootMdata['pagingPrevLabel']), ENT_QUOTES, 'UTF-8').'"/>'."\n";
and change to this
echo '<input class="bfPrevButton'.$this->fadingClass.'" type="submit" onclick="populateSummarizers();" value="'.htmlentities(trim($this->rootMdata['pagingPrevLabel']), ENT_QUOTES, 'UTF-8').'"/>'."\n";

Let us know the result.

Regards

Regards,
Tome

Hello,
Made changes you provided; No difference. "Preview" and "Site Preview" still will not display the page selected, each required field must be populated in Preview pane before moving on to preview next page.

Replaced code as supplied - Line 2017:
/* translatables end */
	echo '<input class="bfPrevButton'.$this->fadingClass.'" type="submit" onclick="populateSummarizers();" value="'.htmlentities(trim($this->rootMdata['pagingPrevLabel']), ENT_QUOTES, 'UTF-8').'"/>'."\\n";

Please advise - Thanx

OK. Not a deal breaker, we like BreezingForms quite a lot.
However for complicated forms with 4-5+ pages and lots of required fields it would make editing and formating a bit faster if you could disable the required fields in "Preview" and flip through each of the pages without warnings. For us, large forms must be laid out "friendly" so users don't get frustrated and quit before submitting.
Thanks again.
