Hey,

Martin

Hello,

I hope that we can continue in English.

Can you please explain a bit more about what kind of issue are you having?

Regards,

Mihaela

Hey Mihaela,

thanks for your quick answer.
I’ve already built an actionscript, that multiplies me two values from two select lists and send it to a textfield.
function ff_anreise_action(element, action)
{
    switch (action) {
        case 'change':
        ff_getElementByName('betrag').value = Number(ff_getElementByName('zimmer').value) * Number(ff_getElementByName('anreise').value) + "€";
            break;
        default:;
    } // switch
} // ff_anreise_action

My question is, if it’s possible to show the value in the description text of page 1 for example.

Best regards,
Martin

Hello,

What you want can be done. Here are the instructions on how to make it work as you wanted.

First, go to edit description of the page 1. Do the editing through Tools > Source code. On the place where you want to show that value put this empty span:
<span id="myspan"></span>

Then, to the existing Actionscript add a line of code that will fill in the span as follows:
function ff_anreise_action(element, action)
{
    switch (action) {
        case 'change':
        ff_getElementByName('betrag').value = Number(ff_getElementByName('zimmer').value) * Number(ff_getElementByName('anreise').value) + "€";
jQuery("#myspan").text( ff_getElementByName('betrag').value );
            break;
        default:;
    } // switch
} // ff_anreise_action

That should make it work as you wanted. The 'betrag' value should appear in the description page after the value in 'anreise' element is changed.

Let me know whether you have managed to set this for your form and whether this is working as you wanted.

Regards,

Mihaela
