anate created the topic: Record ID in Email Subject

Thanks for the Breezingforms. How do I change the Email subject "Form record received" to use the actual database RECORD ID. I see this number in the body of the email. I tried to use the following code from one of your soultions but it returns record count in the database. I delete the data from the database from time to time. Could you please help with this issue? I appreciate any suggestions.

<?php $db = JFactory::getDBO(); $db->setQuery("SELECT count(*) FROM #__facileforms_records where form=16"); return $db->loadResult() + 1; ?>

Hi,

add the name of the field like this in the custom email subject: {record_id}
So if the name of the field you are passing this php to is "record_id", add it like I did above.

Regards,
Markus

Thanks Marcus. But the PHP code from my post doesn't provide me actual record_id from the database. The body of the email says "Record saved to database with ID: 28". But the PHP code {record_id} gives me the count as '10' because there are only 10 records in the database. I deleted the remaining records. How can get the Subject line as '28'? Please let me know if this is not clear.

regards
nate

Hi,

make sure you are using the correct form id. In the sample above it is 16. Maybe you are addressing the wrong form there. You can determine the right ID by looking into Manage Forms => Column "ScriptID"

Markus

Is this valid for all info of the form?
Seems it doesn't work for the title of the form using {Title}.
