Sorry but I have no idea. I was responding to my own question which I eventually figured out and thought I should post the answer.

I'd like to know how to do that as well - I know they talk about that earlier in this thread but they get quite complicated quickly.

Also I'd like to be able to call a specific description from a section in my custom notification.

Does anyone know how to call a section description in the mailtpl file? (Using quickmode)

I agree with you. I tried to follow the thread but I got lost in the middle of it. I hope that someone can get the info from the post and clarify it a bit for the rest of us. Thanks

Hi,

if you want to access the fields directly, you can do it like this:
echo $MAILDATA[0][_FF_DATA_TITLE] . ': ' . $MAILDATA[0][_FF_DATA_VALUE];
echo $MAILDATA[1][_FF_DATA_TITLE] . ': ' . $MAILDATA[1][_FF_DATA_VALUE];
echo $MAILDATA[2][_FF_DATA_TITLE] . ': ' . $MAILDATA[2][_FF_DATA_VALUE];
// and so on

The numbers 0 to 2 indicate the order number of a field. You can determine the order number by simply counting the elements, starting at 0 OR give custom order numbers. If you use custom order numbers, make sure they start with 0 and don't have gaps (so prevent 0,1,3,4,6,...)

EDIT:
corrected the code above a little

Markus

Thanks Markus. Very helpful. Is it possible to call the description too? I tried _ff_data_description but it did not work.

How i can put the title to bold?

I have tried this:

<?php echo '<b>',$title["field_name_assigned"],'</b>'?> = <?php echo $value["field_name_assigned"]?>.

But is not working.

I have thinking a little bit :laugh:

It was very easy. The solution was to rename mybackfile.txt.php to mybackfile.html.php

Sorry to make stupid questions :silly:
