(Btw, I'm loving how easy it is to learn how BreezingForms works; amazed at what it can do and; stunned by the level of support I've received so far.)

The applet that I'm building with BreezingForms for Joomla is for users to use to capture their own data.
  1. How do I go about configuring that?
  2. Is it possible to hide their data from Joomla administrators?
  3. Is there a way of enabling them to give (and then revoke) access to a selection of one or more users and/or user groups?

Thanks very much.

Hi,

I am glad that you like our product :)

If I understood you correctly, you can add in form that user receive mailback, when he submits the form, he will receive the mail.
For this, you can add textfield element to the form, and name it email . Then go to this email element->Advanced->enable Mailback (on this way user will receive mail with their data).

For access to data you can use content builder integration with breezingforms:
crosstec.org/en/support/online-documenta...rms-integration.html

When you integrate breezingforms in content builder, then in content builder->Views->Persmissions you can set who can access, select, delete, edit (which users and users group).

Let me know if you need more help

Tihana

Thanks for the quick response, Tihana.

I'm wanting users to be able to save their data on my site, for their own ongoing online use - rather than receive it via email.

Here is the basic story for the end-user:
  1. Add a new Quest (record) via the main form.
  2. Edit the record later, if required.
  3. Complete one or more (child) detail forms against the Quest (parent) record.
  4. Repeat the process for other Quests.
  5. Browse their Quest list at any point - adding, editing and deleting records and associated child records.
  6. Share Quests with other users - optionally inviting them to make comments against the Quest and the Quest details.
The Quests are dramatic improvement initiatives and projects.

Does that make sense?

Thanks

Gary

Hi,

then again for this I suggest to use Content builder with integration of BreezingForms, there you can edit, delete, add records too.

Please try to test it, and see if this is ok for you.

I already sent the documentation for integration.

And there is CB:
crosstec.org/en/downloads/joomla-cck-contentbuilder.html
Please download CB for joomla 3

Let me know if you need more help

Thanks, Tihana!

Your reply ended up in my Junk folder - and I thought that you must be human and need sleep.

I'll give it a go and let you know how I get on.
