So I did some more testing today to try to figure out why the submission date appearing in PDF export sin the back-end differ from the PDF attachment.

The date element with <?php return date("F-d-Y g:ia", time())?> is also showing the incorrect time

As a workaround I changed the value to
<?php return date("F-d-Y g:ia", time()-14400)?>

One thing I was noticing was that on the export_pdf.php file the variable is $rec->submitted;

In pdf_attachment.php, the variable is $this->submitted;

I'm not sure that means anything.

In the meantime, I need workaround for $this->submitted;. Can I do something similar (i.e. -14400) as I did with the value element? The timestamp is important as it is a Covid-19 questionnaire.

At the moment, this is the only thing left to be able to use the form. Another option is to not show the date on the title in the PDF attachment

Hi,

please add in export pdf this:
<?php $today=date("F-d-Y g:ia", time()-14400)?>
then instead of
<?php echo $this->submitted; ?
add:
<?php echo $today; ?

Please let me know if this helps

$this->submitted->is generated when records is submitted and generated pdf
$rec->submitted->records is generated and on export show date
This is basically the same (one is for submission pdf, and one is for export record).

I hope I explained it well

Regards,
Tihana

I've decided to remove reference of the date in the PDF file name or header area.

The dates differ still and is causing confusion with recipients, so i just have reference to the submit date as part of a read-only element using this in the value field:
<?php return date("F-d-Y g:i a", time())?>
