Dear Tihana,

I am 100% in agreement with the approach you have suggested.

May be we could use some 'IF' construct w.r.t., PayPal Button, so that it gets right values of Amount, Tax and Currency...

What do you think?

Hi,

yep, this comes to my mind too.
But the problem is this one paypal button in which we can set currency in paypal element->Properties.

Also, paypal is defined like this:
Itemname|Itemnumber|Amount|Tax
or for example:
ff_getElementByName('bfPaymentSelect')='Your item name|0'+ ff_getElementByName('nameoftotaleleemntforexample').value + '|0';

Please give me some time for testing, I do a hundred things at a time hah,
but I try to do everything :)

Regards,
Tihana

Dear Tihana,

No doubt, you do a lot...It is evident by 3000+ posts/answers you have made.

You are too good of a man here, to get around this little PayPal puzzle here.

I love your smiley!

Hi,

thanks for understanding, and kind words :)

Also, I think that bfPaymentSelect instead of hidden input can be select list.
Please check this topic:

Hope this helps

If you need more help, please let me know

Dear Tihana,

Here is what I tried:

1. Disabled two elements 'Select1' and 'Total'. Now I was left with 2-elements only.
2. I took the next one element, and changed it to 'Select from list' type.

Label: Are you currently living in India?
Name: bfPaymentSelect
List:
0;;
0;No;No|1|990|0
0;Yes;Yes|2|42000|7560

3. I kept the PayPal Button at its regular settings.

The output was in the right direction. If the user selected 'No' to question "Are you currently living in India?", then the value of USD 990 was being passed to Paypal.com. And if the user selected 'Yes', then the value of USD 49560 was being passed to Paypal.com.

But default currency is still causing the same trouble.

How we may go about this?

Please guide further with your kind instructions.

With thanks,

RK

Hi,

I am glad that this is right direction.
Also, I need to make some investigate about this currency, and then come back to you :)
