Hi Markus,

some good and bad news. :-)
I have been able to connect BreezingForms - Zappier - Docusign.
But the template I created in Docusign corresponds to a contract into which 2 recipients are indicated and need to sign.
The Zap can well make the mapping for the first recipient when it looks at the docusign template, but doesn't propose to map the second recipient.
I opened a request to the support of Zapier.

Hi Markus,
I got a feedback from Zapier support:

At the moment, it's only possible to send a request to one person at a time. We do have a request open for this feature and I've added your vote. We'll be sure to let you know if the integration is updated to support multiple requests at once.

Do both people need to sign the same document? One option is to split this into 2 steps—one for Dirigeant and another for ADINVEST. The Docusign template would probably need to be updated to only include space for one of those people on each document.

So it looks like difficult to implement as we effectively need to get both people signing the same document at the end. (I will check that on our side).
If we need both people to sign, then it would mean doing into two steps:
- first recipient to sign it,
- then formalising a storage and way to trigger it with the right information
- so that we can initiate a second step using the signed pdf of the first step, getting signed by the second recipient, and then sending the double-signed resulting pdf to the two recipients.
If we need to get both people signing the same document, then it is probably too complex at current version of the Zap component (we need to wait that Zapier improves the DocuSign zap).
If we need only one person to sign, then it works fine.
I will let you know if the Zapier support comes back to me with an example of the solution for the 2-step approach as I asked them for an example.
Regards
yves

Hi,

what about a native DocuSign integration with BreezingForms? Do you know if their api is accessible without much hassle for developers?

Regards,
Markus

Hi Markus,

I think they encourage development of plugins/connectors.
you can find information at www.docusign.com/products/apis?_ga=2.655...029996138.1590256797
and look th options in the entry "Developers" in the main menu.
In that menu they also have a link to their Development center: developers.docusign.com

it would be great if BreezingForms as a direct plugin (and I think it should become more and more of interest to people).
Your Zapier connector is great already, but the existing DocuSign Zap by Zapier is still limited.

yves
