bchok created the topic: Email Different Recipients Based on Selection

Hello,

I currently have a form that is set to email a specific email address when it is submitted. However, I want to now give the user the option to select which department they want the email to be sent to. For example, say I have two check boxes, checkbox1 and checkbox2. If checkbox1 is selected it will email Department 1, if checkbox2 is selected it will email Department 2. I know I can send emails to multiple addresses at one time by separating them with a ";" but is there a way to send it to a specific address based on the value of a checkbox input.

Thanks!

Hi,

Please check this article about the similar question, but instead of checkboxes this example uses Select-Lists : crosstec.org/en/forums/3-breezingforms-f...n-emails.html#228506

If you have any other questions, let me know.

Regards,
Mario

Mario,

Can this be used for a radio group as well? We want to prevent people from emailing multiple departments with the same inquiry/

Hi,

It should work with radio-group as well.
Simply use radiogroup instead of Select-List and follow the example that I provided earlier.

If you get stuck let me know.

Regards,
Mario
