jonburdon created the topic: Two forms on the same page.

I have two forms on the same page here:

If I fill one out and click submit, it won't submit because the other form on the same page is still empty. Is there a way around this?

Hello,

Yes, there is a way around this.
As explained here crosstec.org/en/support/online-documenta...splay-site-form.html to publish more than one form on a single page you will need to put the forms into IFrames.

By having two forms on the same page is that they're colliding with each other. By inserting forms inside an iFrame, that won't be the case anymore.

If you're linking your form directly with the Menu Item, please do the following:
Go to the Menu Item > Add Form tab > Run in iframe > Yes.

If you're embedding the form inside an article, please do the following:
Go to Extension > Plugins > BreezingForms > Use IFrames > Yes.

Also I think you will need to set your iFrame height to 100% so your form is rendered properly.
Go to your forms Advance Options > More Options > Autoheight iFrame and set it to "on" + set the width to 100% also

Let me know whether this solved the issue.

Regards,

Mihaela

Hi

I've now followed the instructions above and embedded the forms using {breezingforms : formname} on talk4.branchoutwebsites.com

The problem I have now is that the forms don't show - just the plugin text.

The breezing forms plugin in enabled.

I know that plugin code works in these articles because I was previously using {loadposition moduleposition} to display a module with the breezing form within it.

Any ideas?

Hello,

You can leave the forms published as they were before when both forms were shown. You just need to run them in iFrames (or at least one of them) so that you are able to submit one form without simultaneously submitting the other.

This {breezingforms : formname} isn't working because it is not correct, the code is case sensitive.
The one that you should be using is {BreezingForms : formname} .

Mihaela

Thanks. Now they are both working in an iframe.

I need to remove the iframe border and background colours entirely. How to I go about that?

Hello again,

I'm glad that now both forms are working.

As explained in this article crosstec.org/en/support/online-documenta...form-in-article.html you can determine whether you want the border or no, for example if you use this shortcode there will be no borders:
{BreezingForms : formname, 1, 0}

You can take a look here regarding the background issue crosstec.org/en/forums/3-breezingforms-f...te-page.html?start=0 or here crosstec.org/en/forums/3-breezingforms-f...n-iframe.html#219189 .
