TonyS created the topic: Help / Tutorial to create a simple members list from current joomla users table

Hi, can anybody point me in the right direction to create a ContentBuilder view to display a joomla registered users list that can be exported in xls from the current joomla users table in database from frontend & backend please.

Many Thanks.

Hi,

in the storage setup, it should work if you pick the #__users table and create a storage based on that.

Then create a view based on that storage and show the fields (and xls export option) as required.

But be careful with this table as it is extremely important and don't any give write permissions to it, to no group at all (view permissions tab).

Regards,
Markus

Thanks Markus, I have decided to go a different route with this now, but may revisit the idea if the other way doesn't work.
