Yes sorry I will explain more.

I have a soccer league where team admin can enter thier teams through breezingforms. When in list view for a particular team, I would like to have a button which will direct to a new form where players can join. I need to take the league ID, name and few other data across to the new form.
I hope this explains better.

Hello,

Yes, this does explain better, thank you.

Here is how to make this work as you wanted.

First, go to the view > Content Template tab. In Editor click on Tools > Source code and at the end of the code add something like this:
<a href="www.yoursitename.com/index.php?option=com_breezingforms&amp;ff_name=formB&teamid={bfQuickMode1830147:value}&name={bfQuickMode1830148:value}">Join team</a>
NOTE: Replace www.yoursitename.com with your site.
Furthermore, replace formB with the name of this second form to which user should be redirected.
Finally, you have to replace bfQuickMode1830147 and bfQuickMode1830148 with the name of the id and name field in this first form from which you wish to pass the id and name.

Then go to the second form and in Properties of the field where you want to display the passed id put the following code:
<?php return JRequest::getVar('teamid');   ?>
as Value.

In the field to display the Name put the following as Value:
<?php return JRequest::getVar('teamid');   ?>

Let me know whether this is working as you wanted.

Regards,

Mihaela

Thankyou for you reply Mihaela

I have done what you mentioned, however I have a hidden menu where the form is located. This is 'join-league'. So I did this

<a href=" www.fs.pirandesigns.com/index.php/join-l...me={LeagueName:value }">Join League</a>

However is get

Not Found
The requested URL was not found on this server.

Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

Can you see what I am ding wrong?
