ante created the topic: Show Content Details on Form submit

Hello
I have a BreezingForm/ContentBuilder setup.

My Form consist of one page with multiple elements. When submitting a form, I would like the next page to be a detail page of the content just created by the form. Is this possible? I feel like this is something that is offered by the integration of the two extensions, but I can´t work it out.

Best regards,
Ante

Hello and thanks for answer

I did read about the summarize element before, but admittedly it did not cross my mind to use it.
I still can´t see how I can achieve the same result using it.
My detail page in ContentBuilder looks like the attached image.

Part of the message is hidden for the guests. Please log in or register to see it.

As you can see I am mixing element values with text. In the template editor it looks like "yoursite.com/campaignlandingpage/?cid={CampaignCode:value}".

I am not sure if I can achieve this with the method suggested?!

Best regards,
Ante

Hi,

After the form is submitted through ContentBuilder the user is taken to the page that you create in Content Template in the List View. Is what you want to find out how to incorporate a value submitted in a form in to a link on that page that? In the image what are the red parts supposed to show?

Or you just want to know when user fills in the form through just BreezingForms, how to display values just submitted in a form?

Regards,
Mario

Hi
The red parts are generic strings from a Breezing Form element.

In Contentbuilder you can reach the detail page shown on the screenshot for each submitted BF form.
What I would like is the user to be taken there directly when they submit the form.
So user fills the BF form and submit. Next page should be the detail page available from CB for this specific BF submit.

Hope my explanation made sense :-)

Best,
Ante

Ante,

Ok, so you would like that when person fills in the form that he is taken to the" "Details" that he would see when enters a certain record in ContentBuilder.

To achieve that do as follows.

Go to Advanced proeprties of your form > More options > Submit pieces and in End Submit section set Type to Custom.
Then in the code area below put the following code:
$this->execPieceByName('ff_InitLib');
$db = JFactory::getDBO();
$db-> setQuery("Select max(id) From #__facileforms_records Where form = 16");
$num = $db->loadResult();
JFactory::getApplication()->redirect("http://localhost/joomla2/index.php/imagetestcb/details/2/".$num."/", 'parent');

NOTE: In the code above you have to replace "16" with teh ID of your for. You can find teh ID in BreezingForms > Manage Forms in the "Script ID" column for that form.

Furthermore, in the path to redirect to please replace "http://localhost/joomla2" with your site, "imagetestcb" with the name of the view and"2" with the ID of that list view.
Simplest way to get the path is to go to "Details" of certain record and see there how the path looks like.

Let me know whether this is what you wanted to achieve and whether you have managed to make it work for your form.

Mario
