gavdpol created the topic: Editing a form in the database

When I go back in to the database and edit a form, any dates that were filled in on my form automatically default to today's date upon clicking the edit button. I have provided screenshots to highlight this. We are using the Bootstrap Theme with a Calendar element with the format of %d/%m/%Y.

Please provide some solutions so that the data captured on the frontend of the form does not default to today's date upon clicking edit from the database.

You can see by the birth date and entry date entered for this person and the second screenshot shows that it defaults to today's date upon trying to edit the form. So that even if a different field needed to be edited and someone resubmitted the form it would not change those dates upon the second submission.

Hey,

when you say you go to the database, do you mean that you actually go to your database (phpMyAdmin or something similar) or to your Manage Records?

If you are indeed in the database, are you sure you're correctly editing those fields that you're trying to edit? I don't really see a reason for this to happen unless you put the wrong value for an entry.

Get back to me with the info and we'll proceed from there.

Kind regards,
Darko

I have the same problem.

When i create a new record with my Birth date, it was correctly registred in database.

If i edit the same record with contentbuilder, calendar fields values are today date.

This problem is from a recent update of Joomla or breezingform pro.

Thank you

Hi, sorry for the late reply. It's in the managing records section.

Hey,

are you sure you're inputting the date in the same format? I just tested on a couple of different environments and every time the date would get saved with what I entered.

I simply can't replicate your issue.

Kind regards,
Darko
